Astor Hotel

The hotel is not in the center of Bolonia. Walking distance to the Old Town is about 40 minutes and to the Congress Center is about 20 minutes. But the closer the center the more expensive it is. The fare for this hotel (given the top of the season !) was pretty decent. Excellent breakfast. This was not the problem for me as I came by plane but for people traveling by car - ensure you secure the parking place - the hotel parking looked pretty small.

The staff were brilliant. They could not have been more helpful. They went the extra mile to look after luggage when we arrived extra early in the morning and could not check in and again when we had a late flight to catch. They were great ant offering options for transport and things to do. Rooms were spacious for 3 people and bathroom also large.

Really nice hotel in a quiet area. Not that far from city centre about 25 min from Piazza Maggiore. For those who prefer transportation, the bus stop is 1 min away. Really clean rooms, friendly stuff willing to help anytime. Also it is really close to the train station which helps for excursions to nearby cities!

conveniently located by a bus stop to get downtown and everywhere you need to go quickly and easily. Andrea and Francesca at the reception were marvelously helpful. the breakfast was amazing. there are 2 good restaurants within walking distance and dozens more downtown.

Great value for money. We arrived for a night before our flight with a car and a lot of equipment. The parking was great and there is a bus station in front of the hotel directly to the city center (11). Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms and best crib we had so far for our baby 😄 Thanks!
